Old German Tram Lines

With old style trams being fazed out and replaced with longer bendy trams I would imagine that there is a program to modernize more track sections through the system in Wroclaw

The track and sleepers cut out in sections and loaded onto lorries.  almost 1 kilometer of bed is being uplifted and replaced.

The work, like above, was being carried out in many stretches of the kilometer - is was like bees - all very busy getting on with the task in hand.  I would presume the new track to be ready very quickly and when I pass by again I will take some new images.

And here is one of several Tram Depots in and around Wroclaw.  This particular one is situated near to the above work being carried out and the Trams terminated here and turned around to repeat their journey again and again whilst that work is ongoing.

Take note of the beautiful cobbled ground and how the tracks are neatly bedded in.  All original as is the Tram building it self dating back 60 / 70 + years.  In reality the view was stunning.
