SP-HXL Air Ambulance - Poland, Wroclaw - Airbus Helicopters H135 P2+ HD

SP-HXL Air Ambulance - Poland, Wroclaw - Airbus Helicopters H135 P2+ HD

SP-HXL Air Ambulance - Poland, based in Wroclaw - Airbus Helicopters H135 P2+ HD - On the 23rh of August in the early afternoon we were driving to the Post office and then onward to an old railway track, but we spotted this low flying Helicopter.  Most unusual for it to be so low. So out came the camera.

We decided to add this to our blog as such emergency occasions can be replicated on your model railway layouts - In fact almost all the things you see in these images can be purchased from several model manufacturers like :- Herpa, Busch, Faller, Preiser they all create models to help make such model scene like as this.  Many services such as the Fire and rescue crew, Ambulance Crew, Police officers the Pilot and his crew and all their vehicles and machines.  The buildings and people all can be purchased in model form and from real life events like this you can add reality to your layout - it happens and a lot a good people work together no matter where you are.

looking more we could see that Straz (Fire Brigade) had closed the main road off - but the Helicopter circled....

But shortly the Helicopter flew to the right..... so off we went to the Post office on our merry way.

However when we got to the car park - look what was parked.  Knowing how important it was not go in we parked up on the road.

The people gathered as the crew got out.

The Straz (Fire Brigade) turned up and soon did the Police.

A long shot of the Helicopter along with the Pilot talking to the Police.

Needless to say this young chap was over the moon to have his photo taken with the Pilot of the Helicopter and then spend several minutes talking about the service and flying and about the Helicopter.

We learned that due to the umbrellas and low cables it was far to dangerous to land in the first appointed place.  So he had to look around and find a place to land.  Having found the car park he then started his landing.  So dangerous at that time as not knowing if a car would go in or out or any people may be in the way.  But down on the ground he got his machine.

Are we not lucky that such people in our countries are so skillful and use such skills to help save people lives.

(Big thank to you - Captain)

With the Pilot's permission we had a peek inside where we learned about the new night vision equipment.

This shot shows us their web site address - check them out you may find it interesting.

OK so the patient was being loaded (heart attack as we heard) and soon the Helicopter would be off back to Wroclaw.

Buy road ambulance about 35 minutes and by Helicopter 4 minutes at top.

Check out the video below of it's take off.

And 3 to 4 minutes later this person was landing at the Hospital Helipad.
