Through a dark 1.2 km railway tunnel

Ever wondered what it's like to walk through a disused railway tunnel, well we found this one heading right through the Polish mountainside. There are two tunnels one currently used with single track and this one we are writing about. Armed only with 3 mobile phones and their back lights we set off not knowing the tunnels length or what we might see. (you got it - it was not a planned visit but a by chance find hence no flash lights)

In Poland is a massive network of railways much dating back what seems to be 70 or more years, There is talk of the Golden Train - a train from WW2 filled with looted gold and treasures. Railway buildings and track beds along with Bridges partially still in operation. Trams lines & old German style buildings dating back 90 years or more.
